The artwork, titled “AANGSLOOTKLOOT,” symbolizes society’s poisonous obsession with consumption. It depicts the rise of robotic changes, akin to a transformation into autopilot, mindlessly following society like a fooled zombie. Even though its soul and mind have dimmed in memory, they remain not entirely lost. It’s as if the connection to the consumerist society has turned it into a fool, abandoning its self, soul, and mind. Yet, amidst this, glimpses of hope, change, and growth endure, evident in the blossoming green pollen at the tips of its roots.
